Our Ethics

 Lately, I have been thinking to write a post on ethics in HR. Let me give you guys a brief definition of ethics. Ethics is a system of rules and principles about proper conduct in a society that guides people in actions and decision making. (Source:study. Com)


IS ETHICS REALLY IMPORTANT AT WORK PLACE?:-
  Before answering this question, question yourself once. How would you react when your co-worker steals your project idea and claims as his? Is'nt it sort of back stabbing? What if there is existence of favouritism? Will you just turn your backs as nothing happened or raise your voice? Just like how a mother tries to resolve kid's fight there is a person called HR Manager who solves these kind of issues.
WHAT DOES A HR MANAGER DO?




Starting from hiring to firing, everything will be under the control of the manager. But then , this is not what i'm about to say. Imagine, there is sexual harassement by a boss/colleague of opposite sex. Pressure to hire a relative rather than a true talented one. Invading employee's privacy. Working overtime even on weekends but still getting paid poorly. Leaving the job/life because of unfair promotions. Selling the confidential information of a ongoing project to rivals.
Now stop your imagination. Unfortunately , these are all real life incidents taking place in our dearest society. Who is answerable for these questions?
    
   When a kid behaves improperly,the society says,"Your parents didn't raise you well".In that case,HR manager is answerable to all these questions.

Shall we just blame him/her?In order to protect companies reputation most of them turn their backs.Is'nt it unethical of them to hide these things?

✴️The reason why I titled this post as "PUSH OR WISH" is satirically questioning oneself whether they want to push away these issues or wish to get the change .The fastest way to lose the trust is to lie to them.
SOME OF THE EXAMPLES OF UNETHICAL BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS CUSTOMERS:-

     I here by conclude that ethical and unethical behaviour is a matter of choice.I believe that where there is god there must be evil too.when there is good there is bad too .End of the day its solely depends on you,which path you are gonna prefer.I am gonna say this again and again.Never forget this,"you only live once"  .
